The Avenir Cemented Hip continues to break ground across the EMEA region, most recently with a big win in Italy!
 
On September 30, Dr. Camera implanted the first Avenir Cemented Hip at Santa Corona Hospital. Dr. Camera soon followed this inaugural surgery with a second implantation, performed October 1.
 
After completing the first surgery, Dr. Camera commented on how easy it was to implant the Avenir stem, saying in Italian, “facile, facile,” meaning “effortless, effortless!” His echoed his enthusiasm and trust in the Zimmer product when he later expressed his desire to substitute all of his cemented stems for Avenir stems.
